Being a dancer myself, I always knew the importance of being strong and flexible at the same time.
Yet despite I have been training since I was only three, first as an animateur at the very early stage of my life and then as a professional dancer, I had never been able to feel my body.
After having different knee injuries , I realized that I was pushing my body up to the limit with no taking care of it.
That’s the reason why I decided to start studying anatomy and to find a good workout that could actually support my body, making me feel stronger, and keeping my body and my mind in connection.
Pilates was the answer.
Pilates is a fitness method invented and promoted by Joseph Hubertus Pilates, a German physical trainer, in the early 20th century.
